We landed right in front of the cave.  No one was outside.  They were probably all with Silvia and Silvertongue in the Training Area, eating lunch.  Icemoon gave me no time to jump from his back, and it wouldn't have mattered anyway.  I couldn't have kept pace with him.
We actually had lots of fun flying through those caves so quickly.  Though an odd friend was now the Dragon Lord, who had almost killed Tash Rowansson and my family and home, flying down to the Training Area to tell my family the horrifying news was... fun.

When we ate dinner that night outside, the air was warm, and the sunset was lovely.  It was the most perfect day in the whole world to turn 16.  I was happy my family got to see such beauty around them on their first day of being at the cave.  They all enjoyed their new surroundings, even though most were upset to leave the abbey.  In fact, we all were.
"I hope everyone's okay now," Alexandria said when all was quiet.  Sam dropped his fork and searched for it in the growing darkness.

Something to Consider

It was a long journey.  Long and arduous.  My family learned to cope with everything they had to deal with, being constantly outside.  Going wasn't as slow as I expected, but we didn't make as much progress as Garnet and I would have riding horseback on our own.

So I figured it was high-time I made my own emote OC since it seems like I'll be an emoticonist for quite a while... so this is The Dragon Apprentice! :D She's a mysterious little blue emote with honesty and integrity (two feelings expressed by the color blue) as well as very passionate. She has silver horns like a dragon and can wield fire too! She carries around a staff with her that was given to her with the power to write with the creativity of a horde of dragons, and to do a little flame-throwing ;)

The TWD stands for =TheWritingDragon of course, and the number below her picture is my Deviant User Number :la: The F stands for female and the 15px is her height without the dragon horns :)
